How will your project use the funds raised, and how is the project meaningful?
The U-High Middle School Softball Hit-a-Thon is a fundraiser for the UHS softball program that allows players to raise money by hitting softballs for maximum distance. The players can either take a one-time donation for their efforts, or use their furthest distance and be paid per foot. Our goal is to have a 100% participation rate, for each player to raise a minimum of $50.00 (or more!), and to raise $2,000.00 (or more!) program wide. Funds raised will go towards the purchase of necessary equipment and supplies for the team. With our program entirely funded by donations, this is a critical fundraiser for our softball program. All donations made towards the U-High Softball Hit-a-Thon are 100% tax deductible.
A one-time five percent Development Support Fee will be applied to each gift, to be shared by the LSU Foundation and the benefitted Institute.
