Our Club
Men’s Rugby is a long-standing sports club here at LSU with a history of success. We currently compete in the Southeastern Collegiate Rugby Conference (SCRC) against schools such as Alabama, Georgia, Clemson, Kennesaw State, Tennessee, South Carolina, Kentucky, and more. We are 100% student-run and managed.
What will my gift support?
We are raising funds not only to support home matches, but to aid with travel expenses for our match versus the University of Georgia. These expenses include buses, hotel rooms, equipment maintenance, etc.
LSU Rugby, Building Champions
The LSU Tiger Rugby team is comprised of strong, dedicated young men who work together to be champions on and off of the pitch. We encourage each other to be better athletes and better people.
Why are donations necessary?
Our club is funded primarily by dues from players, along with support from the LSU UREC, Student Government, and Tiger Rugby Foundation. However, expenses from both our teams traveling across the Southeast, equipment, match personnel, events, conference and administrative dues, and other expenses can exceed our available resources. We are therefore asking for the community’s support to help our players continue to compete and develop as players and individuals.
